Kaizoku Clothing Company was founded by my brother, Camilo Romero, out of his deep passion for Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. While serving in the Air Force, he was stationed in Japan for seven years, where he fully embraced the martial arts culture. Inspired by his experience, he created Kaizoku—Japanese for “pirate”—to represent the relentless spirit of fighters who forge their own path. When he started this company while I was in college, I had the chance to work alongside him to develop designs that blend tradition with modern style.
Judo and Jiu-Jitsu demand discipline, resilience, and adaptability—qualities that Kaizoku embodies in every piece. From sleek, durable gis to Under Armour-style compression wear, every product is crafted for comfort, mobility, and endurance. The goal? To create gear that supports fighters through every roll, throw, and submission.
Just like the martial arts it’s inspired by, Kaizoku is constantly evolving. Our designs never stay stagnant—they change to match trends, improve functionality, and reflect the dynamic spirit of combat sports. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or competing at the highest level, Kaizoku ensures you look and feel ready for battle.
